Bazee.com tie up with Yahoo! India

Baazee.com has entered into an alliance with Yahoo! India. This alliance will enable users of Yahoo! India to participate in online auctions on Baazee. The auction site was also in talks with Rediff.com for an alliance to provide the Baazee auction facilities to Rediff users. Baazee already has an arrangement with Indya.com and Sify to provide auction facilities for their users.

Baazee, which already charges its B2C segment, plans to start charging its C2C base in the next four months or so. Baazee is talking to a couple of players who could function as third party service providers in the payment arena. The commission could range between 1.5 per cent and 13 per cent depending on the nature of the product being sold.
