BARC Week 15: Advent of IPL sees Vodafone and Vivo enter Top 10 Brands

Harpic 10x retained its top spot in BARC’s Top 10 Brands for Week 15 (April 7-13, 2018) with improved 18,056 insertions. Lizol climbed up to the second spot with 14,803 insertions. Kalyan Jewellers entered the category at the third spot with 13,760 insertions.

Airtel retained its fourth spot with 13,549 insertions while Vodafone Cellular forayed at the fifth spot with 12,123 insertions. Dettol Toilet Soaps held on to its sixth spot with 10,160 insertions.

Trivago moved up to the seventh spot with 9847 insertions. Vivo V9, Dettol Antiseptic Liquid and Harpic Power Plus entered at the eighth, ninth and tenth spot with 9796, 9531 and 9301 insertions respectively.

In the same week in BARC's Top 10 Advertisers, FMCG brands Reckitt Benckiser and Hindustan Lever continued to lead the category with 1,27,138 and 1,21,825 insertions respectively.

Cadbury India climbed to the third spot with 32,454 insertions. ITC Ltd continued to maintain its fourth spot with 31,980 insertions.

ITC Ltd and Godrej Consumer Products swapped their position this week at the fourth and fifth spot with 31,980 and 23,012 insertions respectively. Procter and Gamble slipped to the sixth spot with 22,825 insertions.

Colgate Palmolive India entered the category at the seventh spot with 20,555 insertions. Brooke Bond Lipton India moved up to the eighth spot with 17,966 insertions.

Amazon Online India slipped to the ninth spot with 17,558 insertions. Marico forayed into the category at the tenth spot with 16,262 insertions.
