Bank of Maharashtra reviews its creative biz

Bank of Maharashtra has released a tender inviting agencies to make presentations for its overall communication, following which it will decide on the empanelment of agencies. The account size for the creative business could not be ascertained at the time of filing the report, but is believed to be substantial.

No official confirmation was forthcoming either, however, sources close to the development have confirmed the pitch call. According to the sources, the brief given to client was based on the completion of 75 years of the Bank. It is also believed that the Bank now is looking for more for a revamp. Based on this brief, agencies will conduct their presentations.

There are in all five incumbent agencies empanelled on the business, including Rediffusion Y&R, Crayons and Goldmine.

A public sector commercial bank, Bank of Maharashtra offers personal banking, cash management, retail loans and other financial services. The bank excels in social banking and has 38 per cent of its branches in the rural areas.
