Amazon rules Top 10 Brands after previous week's no-show: BARC Week 40

After a no-show in the previous week, Amazon entered BARC’s Top 10 Brands to take the no.1 spot with 22,668 insertions. Lalitha Jewellery took the second spot with 12,044 insertions. Vivo V7 Plus slipped to third spot with 8320 insertions.

With Diwali knocking on the door, a lot of new brands have entered the list across telecom, jewellery, handset and consumer goods. Idea 4G App, OPPO F3, Dettol Cool Soap, Kalyan Jewellers, Close Up Ever Fresh and Santoor Sandal and Turmeric entered the list at fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, ninth and tenth spot with 7893, 7769, 7655, 7187, 6833 and 6787 insertions, respectively.

Dove Cream Bathing Bar slipped to eighth spot with 7106 insertions.

Meanwhile, in the Top 10 Advertisers list, Hindustan Lever, Reckitt Benckiser (India) and TVS Motor Company continued to retain the top three spots with 122,926, 56,769 and 31,585 insertions, respectively.

Cadburys India and Procter & Gamble retained their fourth and sixth spot with 26,617 and 23,975 insertions, respectively.

Brooke Bond Lipton India, Patanjali Ayurved and Godrej Consumer Products slipped to seventh, eighth and tenth spot with 21,082, 19,724 and 15,561 insertions, respectively.

Amazon Online India and The Himalaya Drug Co entered the list at fifth and ninth spot with 24,724 and 18,364 insertions, respectively.
