AdFest 2011: Leo Burnett India beings home the most metals

Winners of the 14th Asia Pacific Advertising Festival winners were announced on March 19, 2011, in Phuket, Thailand. From India, Leo Burnett India has topped the charts with total of six metals to their credit.

Besides Leo Burnett India, four other agencies from India – Creativeland Asia, Ogilvy India, McCann Worldgroup and Bates 141 – also brought home metals.

Leo Burnett India six metals include three Silver Lotus and three Bronze Lotus. The agency bagged silver for its work on Welfare of Homeless Kids (Radio Lotus), Bajaj Majesty Iron (Design Lotus) and Awareness for Bhopal Victims (Print Craft Lotus). The agency bagged the bronze for its works on Bajaj Hand Blender (Radio Lotus) and Gandhiji Font (Design Lotus and Print Craft Lotus categories).

Creativeland Aisa has won three Silver Lotus, including two for LMN in the Film Lotus and Film Craft Lotus categories, and one for the Hippo campaigns in the Film Craft Category. McCann Worldgroup has won three Lotus at the AdFest this year. The agency has bagged a Silver Lotus for its campaign for Sanitol Hand Sanitizer in Film Lotus category, while it has got two Bronze Lotus for Servo and Odomos campaigns in the Radio Lotus category.

Ogilvy India’s metal tally stands at four, of which the agency has bagged a Silver for its campaign for Amnesty International in Film Craft category. The agency bagged two Bronze combined for Good Morning Films for Tightrope campaign and for ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 in the Film Craft category and two Bronze Lotus for Indian Railways and Nataraj Scales in the Film Lotus category.

Bates141 has bagged a Bronze in Print Craft category for Staedtler Pens.
