Ad Club Bangalore calls for entries for Big Bang Awards

The Advertising Club, Bangalore has called for entries for its annual Big Bang Awards, for the creative and media work done by agencies between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009. The awards are being sponsored by The Times of India Group for the third consecutive year.

Commenting on the Awards, Malavika Harita, President, Bangalore Ad Club, said, “We have done some rationalisation of categories for entries this year. The agencies will vie with each other for 180 Awards in all (three awards – Gold, Silver and Bronze – for each category) spread over 60 categories in nine groups.”

“This year, we have strengthened the Digital Group by introducing more sub-categories to cover online campaigns, digital campaigns for the web and mobile, viral marketing and social media campaigns,” she added.

Apart from the 180 Awards, there are the top five coveted Awards – Top Art Director, Top Copy writer, Top Agency, Top advertiser and Media Agency, of the Year Awards – which are decided by a point tally system among the award winners.

The last date for receipt of entries is February 5, 2010 and the Awards will be held on February 26, 2010. Agencies can log on to www.adclubbangalore.net for details.
