AAAI nominates Ogilvy India’s Piyush Pandey for Lifetime Achievement Award 2010

It is that time of the year again, when the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) presents the Lifetime Achievement Award. After many years, the Association had revived the awards in 2008, and the first one post this revival was presented to Ranjan Kapur, Country Manager - India, WPP. In 2009, the Award was given to Sam Balsara, Chairman and Managing Director, Madison World.

This year, Piyush Pandey, Executive Chairman & Creative Director, Ogilvy India and South Asia, has been nominated for the Award. However, it is understood that Pandey has to still accept the Award.

The AAAI Lifetime Achievement Award is presented annually and recognises the individual’s contribution in the areas of leadership of the industry as an individual, of contribution towards advancement and professionalism in the industry and is an example of integrity, values and ethics consistent with the standards expected.

As is known, Pandey has been with Ogilvy India since August 1, 1982, and over the years, under his leadership, Ogilvy grew to be the most creative agency in India. Pandey has represented India on many global forums and has been the face of India advertising and its growth for years now.
