Publicis posts weaker-than-expected performance in second quarter
Publicis has posted organic growth of 0.1%, missing a market consensus estimate of 0.7%
Publicis has reported a weaker-than-expected performance in the second quarter.
The advertising group has failed to revive sluggish sales in the US, media reports said.
It had forecast higher organic revenue growth this year than in 2018.
Publicis has posted organic growth of 0.1 per cent, missing a market consensus estimate of 0.7 per cent.
"We still face the same issue, as anticipated, as our contracts on traditional ads in the United States continue to suffer," Chief Executive Officer Arthur Sadoun was reported as saying.
Sadoun said the takeover of Epsilon was the main reason the longer term growth guidance was under review. "We will update you, certainly in the coming months," the CEO was quoted in media reports.
