Industry sources indicate that Parle Agro is meeting creative agencies, however the market buzz is that though the FMCG major has not formally called for a pitch, it is definitely meeting bouquet creative shops and not keen on large agencies at the moment.
Creativeland Asia, founded and headed by Sajan Raj Kurup, is currently handling the duties for the account. Interestingly, the Parle Agro business was moved to Creativeland Asia from Grey Worldwide when Kurup, who was Grey’s Regional Creative Director, left the agency to start his own creative shop.
Kurup was also said to have been responsible for repositioning Appy Fizz and Frooti.
The current size of the business is estimated to be around Rs 45 crore, and one of Creativeland Asia’s largest clients. The agency has also been responsible for the social media turn around campaign for Hippo which was facing distribution issues. For more updates, be socially connected with us on
