Cisco would offer end-to-end solutions to JI to help build an ISP network throughout the country. As per the agreement, Cisco would provide equipment and services, including 50,000 network access server (NAS) ports to the company. The network is built on Cisco System's latest state of the art routers.

Jain Internet's ISP brand, which commenced its free Internet access services in Delhi from July 3, 2000, has already got a subscriber base of over 76,000. The new tie-up would allow the company to upgrade its network in a single step instead of multiple phases, thus enabling it to offer services across the country in accordance with its rollout plan for reaching 25 cities in the next six months.
