Cheil Worldwide SW Asia appoints Abhishek Gupta as Digital Creative Director

Abhishek Gupta has been appointed Digital Creative Director at Cheil Worldwide SW Asia [Cheil India]. Gupta, an award winning creative professional comes with more than 14 years of experience variety of platforms including films, print, and digital. His repertoire includes automobiles, aviation, banking, finance & insurance, fast food, fashion & lifestyle, technology & telecom among others.

Gupta will be working closely with both the creative and digital teams, and report to Rajesh Bhatia and Nima DT Namchu.

Confirming the appointment, Hari Krishnan, COO, Cheil Worldwide, SW Asia said, “Abhishek is an extremely gifted professional and his work has received great recognition both in India and overseas.  His joining Cheil India adds to the constellation of stars in its digital talent pool. Gupta moves from MRM/McCann where he was Executive Creative Director. Prior to DDBMudra he has worked with Digitas India, Contract Advertising, Vyas Giannetti Creative, Publicis, Euro RSCG and UNDP. Career clients include, Airtel, American Express Audi, AVIVA Life Insurance, Reckitt Benckiser, Dabur, General Motors HP, Lufthansa, Marks & Spencer, Microsoft, Nestle, Samsung, Whirlpool and a host of others.

Gupta’s work developed for Samsung Mobile Phones positioned it as the No. 1 Smartphone Brand in the country and the No. 1 in Social Media and has also consistently been awarded at both Indian and international award shows. 

An Honours Graduate in English from Hans Raj College, Delhi University, Gupta’s other passions include cinema, photography and music.
