Publicis Capital bags Cleartrip creative mandate

Following a multi-agency pitch, Publicis Capital has bagged the creative mandate for online travel portal - Cleartrip.com. OMD India is the media agency on the business. According to industry sources, the ad spend on the business is estimated to be in the region of Rs 20 crore.

Speaking on the win, an elated Madan Mohan, Executive Vice President, Publicis Capital, Mumbai, said, “This is a prestigious win and also an extremely challenging one. The challenge was to change the conversations while keeping in mind that the category is driven by price. We are extremely happy to partner Cleartrip on its future journey. This win is the culmination of the passion and the talent of the team at Publicis Capital.”

On the appointment, Niraj Seth, Chief Marketing Officer of Cleartrip, explained, “We were looking for a partner who is passionate and think out of the box and connect our brand to the heart of the consumers, taking it to the next level of consumer engagement. Publicis Capital’s pitch clearly showcased the DNA it had to translate the vision of our brand. The team is outstanding and we are delighted to have them on board as partners.”
