PerceptH has bagged the Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Ltd account following a multi-agency pitch that saw the participation of five agencies. The account size is pegged at around Rs 10-12 crore. TBWA and Xebec were the incumbent agencies on the business. The account also includes Ishanya Mall, the real estate vertical of the company.

Commenting on the win, Jacob Zachariah, VP, PerceptH, Pune, said, “We are very happy to win the account. It is a big account. We have won this account because of our expertise in the rural and urban markets.” The account will be handled out of PerceptH’s Pune office.

Vivek Khar, Senior VP, Strategic Communication, Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Ltd, said, “It was a multi-agency pitch and there were five agencies taking part in the pitch, which boiled down to two, and then PerceptH emerged as a clear winner. PerceptH has won because of the quality of work they presented.”

Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Ltd is an over 30-year old company. The company has a multi project portfolio consisting of chemicals, petrochemicals, fertilisers and other agri-inputs. The company has now diversified into specialty retailing with Ishanya, touted as India’s largest design centre and specialty mall for interiors and exteriors.
