OMD India’s south office has bagged the media duties of online fashion brand Zovi. OMD Chennai had added pain management brand Amrutanjan only last week to its client portfolio. OMD has also bagged the media mandate of travel and tourism channel, Travel Trendz TV.
Both Zovi and Travel Trendz come in the wake of a multi-agency pitch process. The combined size of the two businesses is in the vicinity of Rs 18-20 crore. Several leading media agencies are said to be involved in the pitches.
Zovi is amongst the new-age companies that are leveraging the growing Indian e-commerce space. Zovi focuses on lifestyle apparel and accessory products and exclusively offers them online at reasonable prices. Very recently, a section of media had reported that serial entrepreneur Ronnie Screwvala’s new holding company Unilazer Ventures, with Rs 1,000 crore corpus, was poised to strike investments in e-commerce ventures such as Zovi, amongst others.
Travel Trendz is promoted by Travel and Tourism Media Entertainment, and is a part of Agri Gold Group of Companies. The channel looks to promote world tourism to Indians and other nationalities within the Indian sub-continent, Middle East and the Far East and also promote Indian tourism in different countries, highlighting various facets of the diversified Indian life, heritage and culture. The channel is telecast in four different Indian languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali apart from English.
