LMG bags Expedia, Envista Education, Via; total billings worth Rs 150 cr

Close on the heels of bagging the Union Bank of India account, Lintas Media Group (LMG) has added three new businesses to its kitty – Expedia.co.in, Envista Education and Bangalore-based travel brand network Via.

Sudha Natrajan, President and COO, Lintas Media Group, has confirmed the development and informed that the total billings are worth Rs 150 crore.

The Expedia.co.in and Via businesses were bagged following multi-agency pitches, while no pitch was involved in the Envista win.

Expedia, an online travel company, aims to promote its India specific site. The travel site had recently appointed Lowe Lintas to handle its creative mandate.

Envista Education is a Delhi-based business and its other divisions are engaged in software development, academic event management and testing services. Via, the travel company has its presence in over 1,200 cities in India and globally.

Speaking on the media mix for the brands, Natrajan stated, “Most of these accounts will be fairly heavy on digital/ new media, apart from regular mass media.”

It may be recalled that recently LMG has had some significant wins, which include Union Bank, Intex and Mannapuram Jewellery. The agency’s client portfolio also includes ITC, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Bajaj Auto, MRF, Sony, UTI, Religare and Voltas, among others.
