Grey, Mudra, Lowe Lintas, Publicis in the fray for travel portal Expedia biz

Travel portal Expedia is on the lookout for a creative agency. The pitch process started in June 2010. It is learnt that Grey Worldwide, Mudra, Lowe Lintas and Publicis are the agencies in the fray for the final round. A decision on the agency is expected this week.

The account size could not be ascertained at the time of filing the report, but it is learnt that the account would be a 360 degree initiative.

Expedia has been present in India for two years now, and this is the first time the portal is looking for a creative partner.

Expedia, Inc. is an online travel company and operates localised websites for travellers in the US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China (through a controlling investment in eLong) and India.
