Grey India bags creative mandate for Adani Township and Real Estate Co

Following a multi-agency pitch, Grey Mumbai has won the advertising duties of Adani Township and Real Estate Co, a part of the Adani Group. Its business canvass includes edible oil, logistics, power generation, coal, oil and gas exploration, gas distribution, real estate, ports, special economic zones and IT-enabled services. The assignment begins with the launch of Gujarat’s largest township spread across 572 acres in Ahmedabad.

The multi-agency pitch included various agencies of national acclaim. This win follows close on the heels of Grey Mumbai bagging fashion brand Killer Jeans and Reliance Telecommunications accounts.

Speaking on the win, Hari Krishnan, VP and Branch Head, Grey, said, “It’s a real pleasure and a privilege to be chosen by the Adani Group, one of the most dynamic, ambitious and respected corporate entities in India. This win can be attributed to our understanding of the category and the consumer and our refreshing creative approach. We demonstrated the difference that integrated marketing can do in a category like this. We look forward to this exciting partnership.”

Jishnu Sen, COO, Grey, added here, “It is great to see that the momentum we created is continuing. This is a year of hits. Great evidence that our strategy is working – I am sure it will continue. Watch this space.”

A spokesperson from Adani Township & Real Estates said, “Grey’s strategy was very sound and the ideas they presented were very refreshing and well thought out. They have understood our brief very well. We look forward to making our township becoming a premier real estate destination in partnership with Grey.”

Grey Group clients in India include Bharti Axa Life & General Insurance, Britannia, Dabur, Deutsche Bank, Ferrero Group, Godrej Sara Lee, GSK Consumer Healthcare, ITC, Killer Jeans, Parle, P&G, Suzlon, United Spirits Ltd, Wyeth and 3M, among others.
