Bank of India empanels nine agencies for its media business

Following its media review, Bank of India has it empanelled nine agencies for its media mandate. The decision follows post a tender that was floated in September 2010. The media agencies that have been empanelled on the bank’s roaster are Allied Media, Concept Communications, MediaVest Worldwide, Motivator, Goldmine, Prachar Communications, Sobhagya Advertising, Akar Advertising and Esha Advertising.

It may be noted that the incumbent roster of agencies for the bank remain unchanged and includes Allied Media, Concept Communications, MediaVest Worldwide and Motivator. Now, five more agencies have been brought on board to handle Bank of India’s media mandate.

An official from Bank of India has confirmed the development and has stated that the selected agencies will be empanelled for a period of two years. He further said that there would be no changes in the creative mandate. Currently, the roster of creative agencies includes Ogilvy India, Rediffusion Y&R, Interpublicity, Maxim Advertising and Brainwave Interactive.
