Vizeum bags TI Cycles biz

TI Cycles of India has signed up their media arrangement with Aegis Media’s Vizeum India. Industry sources peg the value of business at Rs 20 crore. The business moves from Mindshare. It may be recalled, Vizeum had earlier this year won the media duties of BSA Motors, a division of TI Cycles.

TI Cycles, one of the leading bicycle manufacturers in India, is a part of the $3.2 billion Murugappa Group. The company, which started in 1949, has been at the forefront of innovations and a pioneer in the market of cycles. TI Cycles are the makers of country’s most famous brands like Hercules and BSA. TI Cycles is an exporter to many regions across the globe - Europe, South East Asia and Africa; being some of them.

Confirming the development, Rajesh Mani, GM, Marketing, TI Cycles & BSA Motors, said, “The professional approach exhibited by Vizeum, coupled with their ability to think beyond traditional solutions, comparative saving on our overall cost as well their involvement in our business at all levels convinced us of this partnership. We look forward to working with them.”

S Yesudas, Managing Director, Indian Sub-continent, Vizeum added, “We are absolutely delighted with this coveted win. This is very special for us as it further helps cement our belief of having clients as our ambassadors. We are proud of the work have done on BSA Motors and are thankful to the TI Cycles management and marketing team for their faith in us. We will ensure TI Cycles will get added to the list of our client ambassadors. This business will be handled out of our Chennai office under the leadership of EM Sreeneelakandhan, GM, South.”
