Raymond Group plans to launch new brand; scouts for creative partner

The Raymond Group is planning to launch a new brand that will cater to the mid-premium segment, industry sources have revealed. The group has called for a multi-agency pitch for this new brand, which is currently underway.

Though no official confirmation forthcoming at the time of filing the report, sources close to the development have confirmed the pitch call.

It is learnt that the agency that will be appointed as the creative partner will be responsible for creating and conceptualising the new brand’s identity, name and logo.

It may be recalled that recently, Raymond had consolidated its media planning and buying with RK Swamy Media Group.

The Raymond Group was incorporated in 1925 and currently, the brands under its umbrella include Raymond, Raymond Premium Apparel, Manzoni, Park Avenue, ColorPlus, Parx, J K Helene Curtis and J K Ansell. The new brand will join this portfolio of brands.
