The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has sent out invites to agencies for empanelment to undertake its publicity and promotions related activities, according to senior sources in the industry. It is a ‘two-stage’ pitch, wherein the agencies will be shortlisted on the basis of their eligibility, and in the second stage, the shortlisted agencies will be required to make presentations on the creative strategy.
The size of the account could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report. Sources close to the development told exchange4media that the empanelled agencies would be expected to produce effective work in the form of creatives for various media formats, media planning and media buying to meet the Bank’s advertising requirements across all media platforms.
It is also learnt that the pitch demands the agencies to have sufficient resources in terms of technology and manpower to undertake assignments with dedication.
The winning agencies will be initially empanelled for a period of two years.
