FMCG major Dabur is on an advertising agency hunting spree and has called for a creative pitch for its skin care range. The pitch is in its initial stages and is open to all eligible agencies, according to reliable sources.
The sources also informed that the creative account for Fem, Gulabari, Oxybleach, Oxylife, Saka and Uveda had been put on a pitch and some of the mainline agencies had already been informed. The first round of presentations will begin soon and the brand is looking to wrap up all the pitch sessions by February 2011 and empanel agencies by the new fiscal year.
Currently, Grey Worldwide is the incumbent agency for Fem, Oxybleach and Oxylife, while Bates 141 is handling Uveda and Gulabari.
Oxylife is a new offering from the house of Dabur, which has been designed especially for professional parlours and salons. The latest addition to the bouquet of skin products is a beauty kit that comprises five different products. Oxylife will not be offered through retail sale and will only be sold to beauty professionals.
The total business size for the skin care range is in the region of Rs 250 crore to Rs 300 crore.
