Bhaskar launches ‘Script-It Contest’ for ad fraternity

The Bhaskar Group has launched the ‘Script It Contest’. Participants are invited to send in TVC scripts before June 11, which should work around the creative idea of ‘The Impact of Newspapers in our lives -- The Power of Print.’ Any agency, whether media or creative, independent writers and media planners are eligible for the competition.

Sanjeev Kotnala, Senior GM, Bhaskar Group, said, “Newspapers impact our days. Being the most penetrative media today, newspapers bring us the news with analyses to make things clearer. What we are looking for is an out-of-the-box perspective for the category that may or may not be brand specific in nature.”

The final winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, after the results are declared by the end of June. The winning script might also hold the chance of being converted into a real-time TV commercial and telecasted.

Bhaskar Group has its presence in the newspapers, television, entertainment, printing, textiles, FMCG, oils, solvents and Internet service space. It owns the Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar and Gujarati paper Divya Bhaskar, which cover nine states with 37 editions and reaches over 2.67 crore readers.
