Lodestar UM’s OOH arm Glo beefs up senior team

Glo, the OOH & BTL vertical from Lodestar UM & Greenline, which became operational in April 2011, has made some key additions to its teams in Delhi and Mumbai offices.

Citing the reason for adding teams across offices, Raminder Singh, Managing Director, Glo, told exchange4media, “We have been very fortunate to work with very big clients like Coke, servicing all their brands, along with many other significant clients. They all have major plans for 2012, organising line of activities throughout the year. Thus, we needed to expand our teams in order to serve our clients better.”

Rahul Choudhary has been roped in by Glo as National Head - Client Servicing. He has around 12 years’ experience in client servicing across various industries. He has also worked for Ogilvy Landscapes in the past, servicing few of their key accounts. His last assignment was with Milestone as Account Director, handling Tata Docomo nationally. In his career, Choudhary has worked on clients like Vodafone, Tata Indicom, Tata Docomo, HUL, Nestle, Maruti, and Indigo Airlines, to name a few.

Gaurav Batra has been roped in as Group Head – Strategy & Planning. His last assignment was with Dialect (GroupM Media India Pvt Ltd), where he had served as Group Head - Planning & Buying for Unconventional Media & New Media Initiatives. With an experience of five years in planning & buying, Batra has worked on clients like Nokia, Perfetti, PSI, Google, Yum Restaurants, Bausch & Lomb, Hero Honda, Max Bupa, Seagram's and Vodafone.

Prashant has joined Glo as Group Head – West. He will be based out of Mumbai and handle businesses in Western India. He moves from Kinetic (GroupM Media India Pvt Ltd), where he had served as Associate Manager. With an experience of around nine years in client servicing and buying, Prashant has worked on clients like Colgate, Exide, The Mobile Store, Fiat, Loreal, Lifestyle, and so on.

Akhil Jain has been appointed as Group Manager – Operations. His last assignment was with Milestone Brandcom Pvt Ltd as Account Supervisor. He has also worked with Moms and Platinum Outdoor in the past. With an experience of five years in OOH, Jain has handled brands like Idea, Aircel and Tata Indicom in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.




Padmakshi Swami has joined Glo as Account Director- Client Servicing. Her last assignment was with Kinetic (GroupM Media India Pvt Ltd), where she served as Manager – Strategy & Planning for North & East. With an experience of around seven years in client servicing and a year in strategy planning, Swani has worked on clients like Airtel, Citi Bank, Samsung, Sahara and Red Tape.

For the record, Lodestar UM had set up its OOH specialist arm, Glo, to provide 360 degree services in the OOH domain in April last year in a tie-up with Greenline, which had 360 degree experience of over 18 years in OOH media. The company is headquartered in Delhi and has set up offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Punjab and has a staff strength of over 50. The client list of Glo includes all brands under the Coke umbrella, MasterCard, HCL, Microsoft, Omron, BMW, Tata Motors, Etihad and Titan, among others.
