Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) expands its portfolio of regional channels with the launch of Telugu movie offering called Zee Cinemalu. Slated to officially in September , it is in test mode and in the process of signing agreements with distribution platform.
The channel has roped in actor Vidyullekha Raman as its face and is targeting young male audience above 18 years. With the tagline ‘Dil Pai Superhit’, Zee Cinemalu is reported to have seven premieres a week, world TV premieres, movie of the month and simulcast of mega events.
ZEEL’s Telugu GEC channel, Zee Telugu is already doing well in the space and has been recently ranked third in week 33 of BARC ratings. The channel is reported to be headed by Anuradha Gudur who head Zee Telugu. According to reports, for the launch it has roped in five brand partners including Close-up, Panasonic, Fogg Deodorant, Fortune Sunflower Oil and Amazon.
