Zee to launch Zee Yuva in August

Zee Entertainment Enterprises is launching a new Marathi channel named Zee Yuva to further strengthen its presence in the Marathi television market.

The GEC will be targeting the youth, and is positioned as the first youth GEC in the Marathi TV entertainment space. Zee aims to keep the content, light hearted, refreshing, contemporary, positive vibrant and fast paced. It plans to formally launch the channel in August.

Bavesh Janavlekar (Business Head, Zee Yuva and Zee Talkies) is excited and affirmative of this channel launch. “Zee Yuva has a very unique and differentiated proposition from the other offerings in the market. The content is distinctive and based on audience insights. ZEE Yuva is the channel for the young at heart. The primary motive of ZEE Yuva is to deliver the programs that are light hearted, refreshing, youthful and contemporary. I feel that this new and innovative step will definitely win the hearts of the audience of Maharashtra. The audiences of Maharashtra have showered immense love on ZEE Marathi, ZEE Talkies and ZEE Studios and I believe that the audiences will welcome the new channel Zee Yuva with the same love and warmth,” he said.
