Zee Sports has signed up Alchemist as the title sponsor for the 27th edition of the Federation Cup football. The ‘Alchemist Federation Cup’, as it is termed, has 16 matches and is shown live and exclusive on Zee Sports.
Financially successful and fast growing conglomerate, Chandigarh-based Alchemist has a past history and success in industries including steel, floriculture, aviation, food processing, tea, hospitality and media.

Zee Sports has created a special section on Indian football to promote the Federation Cup through its website www.zeesports.co.in. This section provides soccer fans with the latest team news, match scores, statistics and player profiles, as well as exclusive player interviews and photo galleries. There will be interactive sections, which will include chat rooms, video clips of matches, online games, wallpapers and ring tones.
In its endeavour to popularise soccer among the masses, Zee Sports has undertaken a multi-media marketing and promotional campaign across the country. As part of the campaign several below the line activities, including road shows, pub screening, football kiosks, etc, are being undertaken in several cities.
