Zee News gets a nod from the Supreme Court. To air 13th December film

In a development this morning, the honorable Supreme Court of India has given a go ahead to Zee News to telecast 13 December – a film on the brutal attack on the Indian Parliament exactly a year ago.

Yesterday, Delhi High court has intervened in the screening. The court had said that the film could be telecast on Friday only after a special court, gave the requisite permission.

Zee News will be telecasting the film as per the original schedule – at 8 pm and 10 pm tonight. The channel states that this film is unprecedented event in the Indian Television history. Speaking with exchange4media, minutes after the Supreme Court judgment today, Zee News’ Laxmi N Goel said that the Judgment marks a victory for the channel’s unstinted commitment to Indian Nationhood.
