ZEE elevates NS Easwaran as Business Head of Zee Tamizh

Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) has elevated NS Easwaran as Business Head of its Tamil GEC channel Zee Tamizh. Prior to this, he was Deputy Business Head of Zee Tamizh. Easwaran took charge of his new role from July 1, 2013. Prem Menon, who till now has been the Business Head, will take charge of new initiative in the Southern markets.

Menon has been instrumental in building the Zee Tamizh business to its current level. While speaking about this development, he said, “It’s been a great journey setting up the ZEE Tamil channel. While I move on to expand the South business for ZEE, I wish Easwaran good luck to take the Zee Tamil channel to greater heights.”

On his new role, Easwaran said, “The stage is set to move ahead and we have our plans in place. I’ll be taking on the baton from Prem Menon and take the channel to the next level.” 

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
