Zee Business forays into business trade shows with International Bikex India

Zee Business channel has entered the business trade shows domain by aligning with the 3rd edition of International Bikex India, India’s largest Expo for bicycles and motorcycles and allied industries. International Bikex India will be held in Delhi on November 26-30, 2008.

International Bikex India has established itself as a niche platform for two-wheel automotive industry, where two-wheeler manufacturers, OEMs, and overseas buyers not only see their actual buyers face to face, but also meet their future business partners. Other associated participating industries, include banking, insurance, oil & lubricants, and IT products for the two-wheeler industry.

Barun Das, CEO, Zee News Ltd, said, “This is our foray into the space of expositions, which will aim at sunrise industries represented by the manufacturers, service providers and consumers together. We feel that there has been a serious need of such platform and we wish to cater this need and go far beyond in creating value.”

Anil Bali, Director, Sunstar Expositions, said, “Bikex India is now poised to leap forward to establish itself as the most sought after two-wheeler exposition in the country.” The last two editions of International Bikex India were successfully organised by Sunstar Expositions (an ISO 9001:2000 certified Trade Show, Exhibition organising and management company).

Rajiv Tyagi, Vice President, Special Projects, Zee News Ltd, said, “Idea is to bring maximum number of consumers face to face with the manufacturers. We are expecting a turnout of about half a million visitors in the show. There would be many unique firsts in the show. There are ambitious plans to take this show and its spin offs to international shores in the very near future.”
