Zee Anmol's 'Jodha Akbar' maintains lead, Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' slips to No.5 in rural markets in week 34

According to the BARC Ratings for week 34 (20-16 August, 2016) in the rural markets, Zee Anmol’s ‘Jodha Akbar’ continued to be the most watched show followed by ‘Bandini’ from the same channel. Star Utsav’s ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ stood at No.3. Zee Anmol’s show ‘Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Jaa’ stepped up to the fourth spot pushing Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ to No.5. Also, Star Utsav’s ‘Gustakh Dil’ took a leap to No.7 from No.9.

Zee Anmol’s show ‘Jodha Akbar’ continued to lead the rural markets but witnessed a dip in the ratings from 6295 impressions ‘000s to 5936 impressions ‘000s.

‘Bandini’, also from Zee Anmol, stood at no.2 with 5580 impressions ‘000s, less than previous week’s 5666 impressions ‘000s.

At No.3 stood Star Utsav’s ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ with improved ratings of 5470 impressions ‘000s. The show had 4782 impressions ‘000s in week 33.

Zee Anmol’s show ‘Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Jaa’ stepped up to the fourth from fifth with 5053 impressions ‘000s, more than previous week’s 4397 impressions ‘000s.

Zee TV’s show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ slipped to the fifth spot but garnered improved ratings of 4984 impressions ‘000s with respect to week 33’s 4600 impressions ‘000s.

Zee TV’s new show ‘Bramharakshas- Jaag Utha Shaitaan’ stood at No.6 with 4354 impressions ‘000s, higher than week 33’s 3817 impressions ‘000s.

Star Utsav’s ‘Gustakh Dil’ took a leap to No.7 in week 34 with 3614 impressions ‘000s. The show had 3166 impressions ‘000s and was at No.9 in the previous week.

‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ on Star Utsav stayed at No.8 and garnered 3505 impressions ‘000s. The show had 3467 impressions ‘000s in the previous week.

The ninth spot was acquired by Star Plus’ ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ with 3281 impressions ‘000s.

Zee TV’s ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’ slipped a spot to No.10 with 3176 impressions ‘000s which were 3231 impressions ‘000s in week 33.
