Zee 24 Taas takes up common man’s problems with ‘Parivar Apla Shehar Apla Awaj’

Zee 24 Taas has embarked on an initiative titled ‘Parivar Apla Shehar Apla Awaj’, a live event taking up issues of public concern in top 24 cities of Maharashtra in 24 days. The event, which was kicked off from September 17 at Sangli, is being aired live daily on Zee 24 Taas channel between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm. The initiative concludes on October 8.

The initiative involves discussions and debates on various issues in the cities concerned with prominent people from those cities.

Bhushan Khot, VP & Business Head, Zee 24 Taas, said, “It is a brand building platform for both clients and the channel across Maharashtra. The most important point of this initiative is that the participants like politicians, professionals, experts, and citizens share the Zee 24 Taas platform and take up the cities’ problems and discuss the solutions with the particular city’s administrator. The objective is to try and find ways to make cities more manageable and better places to live in.”

He further said, “Till date, the response has been great, and in every city, hundreds of people have been attending the event everyday. We have covered 16 cities so far – Sangli, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Solapur, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Latur, Nanded, Yavatmal, Wardha, Nagpur and Amravati.”

“Local administrators, politicians and social service organisations, along with local residents are taking part in the discussions in these cities. A lot of local level administrative and civic problems are discussed to which the local administration/ politicians provide their suggestions/ replies,” Khot added.

The title sponsor of this initiative is Parivar brand from Sapat Tea, while BSNL is the co-sponsor, and Gillette, MPCB, Jyoti Labs, and Sintex are the associate sponsors. Loksatta is the print media partner.

G Subramanyum, VP - Sales and Marketing, Sapat International Pvt Ltd, said, “This is a first of its kind of interactive live event on a news channel where viewers get the chance to question the city administration and seek solutions to their city’s problems, while also discussing amongst themselves – all the while sipping their favourite Parivar Chai. We like such relevant brand associations.”
