What is unique about Prime Time Awards is the combined awards for creative and media agencies: Sam Balsara

Madison Communications took home quite a few awards at the Prime Time Awards. It won a total of 7 awards which comprised of 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze at the Prime Time Awards. The first edition of the Prime Time Awards presented by Zee Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and powered by Fox International Channels saw a tough battle between Maxus (GroupM) and Madison Communication for the Media Agency award, with Maxus inching past Madison to win it. Sam Balsara, Chairman, Madison World speaks on their wins at the Prime Time Awards.

What are your reactions on winning the award for media agency excellence award at the Prime Time Awards?

I am delighted that Madison won so many awards. If I may say so quite deservedly because I think some of the work that won for BJP, Godrej, TVS was very good and well thought through. So I think it always helps to have media professionals on the jury who can appreciate the rigor, hard work and clever thinking that could possibly have gone into an entry. So I must complement exchange4media on have a good and balanced jury panel. I think they did a good job and I am not saying this because we won many awards.

What did you think about the first edition of the Prime Time Awards?

Prime Time Awards is a good property. To start with I think to start with it is a very nice name for a television award. I think what is unique about it is the combined awards for creative and media. Normally till now we are seeing an industry where creative awards are separately held and media awards were separately held. I think here the coming together point is TV and both creative and media are given together in one evening which I think is  good because one thing is true that there should be greater collaboration between media agencies and creative agencies. So maybe the starting point is Prime Time Awards.
