Week 9 ratings: Zee TV records big gains, climbs back to No. 2

Week 9 saw Zee TV return to the No. 2 spot, registering a steep hike in gross viewership. Sony Entertainment Television, which had climbed to the fourth position in Week 8, slid one notch to settle at No. 5.

As per the viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 9 (February 25-March 3) of 2014, for CS4+ HSM markets, Star Plus continued to witness a decline in its viewership, recorded gross TVTs of 637 million, as against 688 million TVTS in the previous week.

Zee TV stemmed the viewership slide to record gains of 548 million TVTs in Week 9, as compared to 454 million TVTs in Week 8.

Colors was placed third with 465 million TVTs, down from 502 million TVTS in the previous week.

Life OK, which had slipped to the sixth position in Week 8, climbed back to the fourth position this week, registering a growth in its viewership at 341 million TVTs as compared to 318 million TVTs in the previous week.

Sony TV slid to the fifth position, witnessing a decline in its viewership in Week 9 at 306 million TVTs, as against 339 million TVTs in Week 8.

Sab TV, too, too saw a decline in its gross viewership at 303 million TVTs, as opposed to 326 million TVTs in Week 8.
