Week 50 ratings: Colors back at No. 2; Sony & Sab TV get more viewers

Star Plus, Sab TV and Sony were the only GECs to gain viewership in Week 50 of 2013. Despite losing viewership, Colors returned to the second position, pushing down Zee TV one slot.

As per the TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 50 (December 9-16), Star Plus maintained its numero uno position with 579 million TVTs. The channel had recorded 561 million TVTs in Week 49.

Colors saw a marginal dip in its viewership at 449 million TVTs, as against 456 million TVTs in the previous week. However, this did not stop the channel from reclaiming its No. 2 spot from Zee TV.

Slipping to the third position in Week 50 was Zee TV, which garnered viewership of 439 million TVTs, as compared to 480 million TVTs in Week 49.

Life OK maintained its fourth position with 313 million TVTs, as compared to 325 million TVTs last week.

SAB TV was at fifth position with 291 million TVTs. The channel had recorded 261 million TVTs last week.

Sony, too, continued in the sixth position with 267 million TVTs. The channel recorded a growth in its viewership this week as compared to 241 million TVTs in Week 49.
