Week 47 ratings: Growth in viewership for Star Plus, Colors & Star Utsav

As per TAM Media data for Week 47 of 2013 (November 17-23, 2013), Star Plus, Colors and Star Utsav registered growth in viewership, while Sony TV continued to witness a slide in its gross TVTs.

This week, Star Plus further consolidated its lead, adding 31 million TVTs to reach a gross viewership of 560 million TVTs, as against 529 million TVTs in Week 46.

Colors, too, has witnessed growth this week with its viewership at 513 million TVTs, as compared to 479 million TVTs in the previous week. The channel registered the highest growth during Week 47, adding 34 million TVTs.

Zee TV, which had seen a growth in viewership in Week 46, saw a fall in viewership this week, garnering 433 million TVTs, as compared to 440 million TVTs in the previous week.

Placed fourth is Life OK, which witnessed gross TVTs of 335 million in Week 47, down from 340 million TVTs in the previous week.

Sab TV, which saw a marginal hike in its viewership in Week 46 to 316 million TVTs, registered a decline this week at 308 million TVTs.

Meanwhile, the slide in viewership continues for Sony TV as the channel garnered gross TVTs of 269 million, as against 298 million TVTs in Week 46. Sony TV had witnessed a decline in viewership in the previous week as well.

On the other hand, Star Utsav witnessed a growth in viewership at 98 million TVTs in Week 47, as compared to 88 million TVTs.

Sahara One garnered 30 million TVTs this week, a marginal decline from 36 million TVTs in Week 46.
