Week 43: Zee TV races ahead, displaces Star Plus from top position

According to TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 43 (October 20 – October 26) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Zee TV has pushed Star Plus from number one position. Most of the GECs in the last few weeks have seen a dip in their viewership.

Zee TV topped the charts with gross of TVT of 505 million (last week 405 million TVTs). Its relative share was 21.33 per cent against last week’s 18.28 per cent.

Star Plus was at number two with gross TVT of 493 million and a relative share of 20.80 per cent (last week 517 million TVTs with 23.09 per cent relative share).

Colors stood at number three with a gross TVT of 424 million. It had a relative share of 17.87 per cent (last week 384 million TVTs with 17.17 per cent relative share).

Life OK was at number four with a gross TVT of 335 million and a relative share of 14.12 per cent. Last week the channel had 317 million TVTs and relative share of 14.15 per cent

In spite of increase in viewership, Sab TV slipped to fifth position as opposed to fourth in Week 42. The channel recorded 332 million TVTs and a relative share of 14 per cent (last week 319 million TVTs and 14.26 per cent relative share).

Sony continues to suffer ratings debacle and stood at number six. It lost viewership and recorded gross TVT of 282 million with 11.88 per cent relative share (last week 292 million TVTs with 13.05 per cent of relative share).
