Week 38: Sony back to No. 4 position; Star Plus retains leadership

TVT data, as per ratings sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 38 (September 15 –September 21) for CS4+ HSM markets, reveal that Star Plus has added 58 million TVTs and recorded gross TVT of 535 million, with a relative share of 22.42 per cent (last week: 477 million TVTs with 20.78 per cent relative share). Mahabharata has garnered a decent opening viewership for the channel.

With Bigg Boss, Colors added 16 million TVTs. The channel recorded gross TVT of 480 million and relative share of 20.13 per cent (last week: 464 million TVTs with 20.20 per cent relative share).

Zee TV added 15 million TVTs this week. The channel grossed 414 million gross TVT with 17.35 per cent relative share (last week: 399 million TVTs with relative share of 17.38 per cent).

Sony was back at No. 4 position. Crime Patrol’s Delhi gang rape case episode helped the channel garner viewership. The channel recorded gross TVT of 327 million with 13.72 per cent relative share (last week: 293 million TVTs with 12.76 per cent relative share).

Life OK slipped to No. 5 rank with gross TVT of 313 million and relative share of 3.13 per cent (last week: 322 million TVTs and 4.04 per cent relative share).

Sab TV came in No. 6 place with gross TVT of 289 million with 12.14 per cent relative share (last week: 312 million TVTs and 3.59 per cent relative share).

Sahara One stood at No. 7 with 26 million TVTs with 1.11 per cent relative share (last week: 29 million TVTs and 1.25 per cent relative share).
