Week 16 ratings: Star Plus sees big dip; Sony rises

In week 16 (April 12 – 18, 2015) of the Hindi GEC universe Sony Entertainment Television (SET) saw the highest gain in ratings. Life OK too saw a marginal gain in ratings. All the other top Hindi GECs saw a decline during the week. Star Plus saw the biggest dip in ratings.

According to data sourced from TAM, Star Plus saw its ratings fall drastically to 545 million GVTs in week 16 from 601 million GVTs in week 15. This is a loss of 56 million GVTs.

Colors in second spot saw a marginal decline in ratings as it fell to 404 million GVTs this week from 409 million GVTs in week 15.

Zee TV too saw a decline as it fell to 377 million GVTs in week 16 from 388 million GVTs in week 15.

Life OK’s ratings improved marginally as it rose to 288 million GVTs in week 16 from 287 million GVTs in week 15.

Sab TV saw a big dip this week to 271 million GVTs in week 16 from 295 million GVTs in week 15. A loss of 23 million GVTs during the week.

SET gained the maximum as it rose to 231 million GVTs in week 16 from 221 million GVTs in week 15. This is an increase of 10 million GVTs.

&TV too gained on similar levels to SET as it rose to 98 million GVTs in week 16 from 88 million GVTs in week 15.

Zee Anmol rose to 95 million GVTs this week from 92 million GVTs during last week.

Star Utsav on the other hand fell marginally to 94 million GVTs this week from 95 million GVTs last week.

Rishtey saw its ratings decline to 52 million GVTs in week 16 from 58 million GVTs in week 15.

Sony Pal saw its ratings rise marginally to 46 million GVTs this week from 44 million GVTs last week.

Sahara One saw its ratings rise to 7 million GVTs from 6 million GVTs in week 15.
