Week 16 ratings: Star Plus continues to gain ground amid poll & IPL frenzy

Week 16 (April 15-21) of 2014 saw Star Plus further consolidate its previous week’s gains. As per data sourced from TAM subscribers, the channel saw an increase in its gross readership in Week 16 at 791 million TVTs from 748 million TVTs in the previous week. The channel continued in the No. 1 position.

Zee TV also recorded an increase in its gross viewership at 473 million TVTs, as compared to 464 million TVTs in Week 15.

However, Colors saw a decline in its gross viewership at 433 million TVTs in Week 16, as compared to 451 million TVTs in the previous week.

Life OK continued at No. 4 position, garnering 389 million TVTs, up from 376 million TVTs in Week 15.

On the other hand, Sab TV saw a steep decline in its gross viewership at 266 million TVTs, as against 314 million TVTs in Week 15.

Sony, too, saw a steep fall in its viewership, registering a gross viewership of 244 million TVTs in Week 16, as compared to 308 million TVTs in the previous week.
