Week 15 ratings: Star Plus further consolidates its gains

Week 15 (April 8-14) of 2014 saw Star Plus further consolidate its previous week’s gains. The channel had crossed the 700-million mark in the GEC space in Week 14. As per data sourced from TAM subscribers, the channel saw an increase in its gross readership in Week 15 at 748 million TVTs from 702 million TVTs last week. The channel continued in the No. 1 position.

Zee TV displaced Colors to be placed in the No. 2 position once again, registering gross viewership of 464 million TVTs, as against 426 million TVTs in Week 14.

Colors slipped to the third position in Week 15, witnessing a marginal dip in its gross viewership at 451 million TVTs. The channel had seen no change in its gross viewership in Week 14, which remained the same as the previous week at 454 million TVTs.

Life OK, which saw an increase in its gross viewership last week, saw a decline in Week 15 at 376 million TVTs. Placed fourth, the channel had garnered 385 million TVTs in the previous week.

Sab TV returned to the fifth position, registering gain in its gross viewership at 314 million TVTs in Week 15, as compared to 299 million TVTs in the previous week. The channel had slipped to the sixth position last week.

On the other hand, Sony Entertainment Television slipped back to the sixth position, witnessing a slight decline in its gross viewership in Week 15 at 308 million TVTs. The channel had garnered 312 million TVTs in Week 14.
