The exchange4media Prime Time Awards presented by Zee Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and powered by Fox International Channels is a platform which gives recognition to the excellent work done by brands, media and creative agencies and broadcasters alike on TV campaigns. The first edition of the awards concluded with Maxus taking the Media Agency award in the overall excellence category. Maxus won 4 Gold metals and 2 Bronze metals, with the Power of 49 campaign taking all the Golds. Kartik Sharma, MD, Maxus South Asia comments on the wins.
What are your thoughts on winning the award for media agency excellence award at the Prime Time Awards?
We are extremely happy to have won the best media agency in the country. I think it is come on the back of some major work across clients. One piece of work which really stood out for us was the work done on the Power of 49 campaign for Tata Global Beverages. It is rooted on some deep and fantastic consumer insights which was taken across different media and truly integrated and what was heartening to see it was very effective, it helped the client win all the business goals but it was also for a social cause and we were fortunate to be part of that campaign.
Comments on the first edition of the Prime Time Awards.
I would like to commend Prime Time Awards on putting up a fantastic event. Not only that the rigor in actually selecting all the agencies and all the participants. The kind of jury that they have been able to get in the first year has been really good. I think any recognition coming from the industry for the industry is welcome and it is a right step forward. Till now we didn’t have anything specific for television as an industry and we are very happy and collective as an industry to see Prime Time taking initiative and doing a great show for the industry.
