Viswam Sports inks deal with DD Sports to telecast Premier Cricket League

Viswam Sports Network has signed an agreement with DD Sports to telecast the Premier Cricket League (PCL) matches for two seasons. The first season of PCL starts in January 2008. The second season starts in the fourth quarter of 2008 and ends in March 2009.

T Viswanatha Reddy, Founder and CEO, Viswam Sports Network, said "PCL is cricket for the business people and Viswam Sports is delighted to partner with DD sports to bring the corporate cricket league matches to the viewers."

In the first season of PCL, there are six teams from Hyderabad playing in the Hyderabad division and six teams from Mumbai playing in the Mumbai division. In the second season, the league will expand to major cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, etc.

Viswam Sports Network, founded in January 2007, is a startup company based in Hyderabad. The Network is in the business of creating sports leagues, organising sports events and selling sports content to television networks.
