Vijay TV continues to ride the Rajnikanth wave with the actor’s birthday

Rajnikanth mania, which hit sky high following the release of his magnum opus ‘Sivaji’, continues to sweep Tamil Nadu off its feet. Cashing in on this ‘boss’ brand this time around is Vijay TV, which has lined up a lot of activities for the actor’s birthday that falls on December 12. A special show ‘Mannadhi Mannan’ will be aired from December 3-13, Monday to Thursday, at 10 pm.

According to Vijay TV officials, ‘Rajni Rasigan Express’, a branded publicity vehicle in true Rajnikanth style, is travelling across Bangalore, Coimbatore, Trichi and Chennai, from November 30 onwards. The journey of the vehicle will be featured on ‘Mannadhi Mannan’.

The special show will also have bytes of contemporaries and juniors from the film industry, Rajnikanth’s family members and his fans, wishing him on his birthday. It will also showcase the landmark films by the actor. Each episode will have specific facts regarding the superstar – his youth spent in Bangalore, his entry into cinema, his blockbuster movies, his style and the character roles he has played.
