Viewers’ choice of news channels as election results pour in

Using its proprietary RTVA methodology, CyberMedia Research conducted a survey amongst 1,304 households in New Delhi and Mumbai.

In Delhi, amongst those watching some news channel, 42.3% were found to be watching 'Aaj Tak', followed by STAR News, NDTV India and Zee News, all of which had near identical number of audience.

And, in Mumbai, amongst those households watching any news channel, 50% sampled Aaj Tak, followed by STAR News (15.6%). A substantial 10% of the total news audience was found to be tuned to NDTV 24X7. more..
