Varun Kohli quits DNA

Varun Kohli, Executive Vice President – Sales at DNA has put in his papers. Kohli had joined the English daily in early September last year as the revenue head.

According to industry sources, he is expected to join Network18 Group. The Network18 Group operates news channels CNBC-TV18, CNBC Awaaz, CNN-IBN, IBN7 and IBN-Lokmat.

Kohli could not be reached for confirmation while filing the report.

Kohli has over 18 years of experience. He began his career in 1994 with Indian Express and has also worked with brands such as Amar Ujala, Hindustan, Dainik Bhaskar, Mail Today.

Recently, He also did a stint with Mogae as its Chief Monetising Officer.

Kohli is a management graduate from SIMS, Ghaziabad.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
