TOI's Ninan Thariyan joins Daily Thanthi

Daily Thanthi has appointed TOI’s Ninan Thariyan to head its new division as CEO. Thariyan quits TOI after a long stint of 36 years.

Thariyan confirmed the news to exchange4media. Sharing his experience with his previous organisation Times Group, he said, “It was very good and fantastic experience to work with the organisation. TOI has redefined the scenario of media and marketing and it’s a great platform to work with. TOI has a good understanding of the market place.”

He is slated to head the new division as CEO which consists of some new initiatives and innovation that are yet to be unveiled. Thariyan has taken charge from June 10th.

Prior to this he was working with Times of India as VP. He played vital role in launching TOI’s Chennai Edition.
He will report to Bala Adithyan, Executive Director of the company.
