There will be no COO in MSM for now: NP Singh

As opposed to all speculations on who will succeed NP Singh as COO of the MSM Group, there will be none. Talking to exchange4media NP Singh, the newly appointed CEO of the MSM Group, said, “For now, there will be no Chief Operating Officer for the company. It is difficult for me to say for much long this structure will sustain, but for now, I have decided that I will work directly with our management team.”

NP Singh was formerly COO of the group, under Man Jit Singh as CEO. In the recent management change, Man Jit Singh relocated to Los Angeles, where he has been appointed President, Home Entertainment at Sony Pictures. He will also operate as the Non-Executive Chairman of the group.

In his new role, NP Singh reports to Andy Kaplan, President Worldwide Networks, Sony Pictures. He has been with the MSM Group for over 15 years.

Commenting on his new role, NP Singh had earlier said, “While much work has been done, there is clearly a long road to go before we can fully achieve our vision. I am certain that with our top quality management team and our dedicated employees, we will achieve new heights of success in near future. I am excited in taking up the new role and look forward to making MSM the most profitable network in the business.”
