TheOneAlliance, a brand of MSM Discovery Pvt Ltd, which is a joint venture between SET India and Discovery Communications, is consolidating its operations with a slew of changes in its management team.
Kunal Dasgupta, Chairman, MSM Discovery, said, “As we foray into new ventures and grow in the business, we conclude a successful three-year innings with Ten Sports on March 31, 2008. We are keen to invest huge money to introduce more sports acquisitions in our bouquet and thus, it was imperative to part ways and move on to greater challenges and scale new heights. We have set the business on fire. 2008 promises to be a great year for TheOneAlliance, with the spotlight on the Indian Premier League, the coveted acquisition of the New Zealand Board, and enhanced programming content on the channels in the bouquet.”
Dasgupta further said, “We have ambitious growth plans for the company. Being a young, engaged and plucky team, we have realigned the top management who have been significant contributors to the company since its inception.”
The restructured team now has Amit Arora, who has been elevated to the position of Senior Vice President. He will be looking after sales, marketing, HR and affiliate relations. Arora will be assisted by Vice Presidents RVL Narasimhan and Rajib Mukherji. Himanshu Dhoreliya takes on Business Development and DTH business as Vice President, while Rajiv Bhargava would steer the functions of finance, legal and operations as Vice President.

These channels include Sony Entertainment Television, MAX, Discovery, Discovery Travel and Living, MTV, SAB, PIX, AXN, NDTV India, NDTV 24x7, NDTV Profit, Nick, VH1, Animal Planet, Animax, Aaj Tak, Headlines Today and Tez.
