Ten Sports to launch ‘Bajaj Pulsar DTS-FI Sportsnight’ from July 23

Ten Sports is launching a news show in partnership with Bajaj. Premiering on July 23 in the 10 pm slot, ‘Bajaj Pulsar DTS-FI Sportsnight’ will bring viewers news from around the world of sports. Presented by host Anand Narasimhan, the show will also include live reporting of international sports events that are broadcast on Ten Sports, bringing viewers news, action, opinion and analyses from the most important sporting occasions.

Scheduled before the daily WWE broadcast, the show will allow viewers to have their opinions on the news of the day, as well as speak to the experts in each sport, and see the best action from around the world.

In particular, the show will highlight the biggest cricket stories of the day, with Ten Sports cricket host Sanjay Manjrekar giving his opinion from around the cricketing grounds. The programme will also connect with some of the top-level international sports shown on the channel including the US Open tennis, Champions League football and World Hockey events.

Peter Hutton, Senior Vice-President, Ten Sports, said, “Our intention is to treat sports news seriously, and to create a credible and knowledgeable programme that will inform as well as entertain viewers across the Indian sub-continent, using the resources of our international sporting connections to work alongside our Indian news team.”
